Located just 15 minutes from the historical town of Granada, in the pretty Spanish village of Lachar, proudly stands the majestic Castillo de Lachar.

Romantics will love the “one thousand and one nights” appearance of the Palace with its towers and ramparts. Historians will be amazed at its varied and diverse past involving famous characters like Christopher Columbus and Grace Kelly and will enjoy the many antiques found throughout the Palace. Those who just love authentic, traditional Spain will feel at home.

This extraordinary resort consists of the Palace, renovated buildings and private gardens with beautiful views over the Spanish countryside. The Palace has been sympathetically restored to offer luxury accommodation, plus an outdoor swimming pool and sunbathing terrace.

The accommodation is distributed throughout the Palace and many of the buildings found within the Palace’s thick walls. All our bedrooms have been individually designed with air-conditioning for the hot summer days and nights and central heating for those visiting during the cooler months.

Our hotel-type rooms, studios suites and one bedroom suites offer luxury en-suite bathrooms, wide screen satellite TV, and tea and coffee-making facilities. Some rooms also benefit from fully stocked fridges and microwave ovens.

We have endeavoured to make our accommodation as flexible as possible so rooms can be locked-off or interconnected to suit your parties’ needs.
